Sleepless Time

I hate alarm clocks.

I hate alarm clocks.

Has anyone noticed a certain lack of cohesion or detail in recent pictures? I feel like my job which exhausts me takes a toll on all things, including my ability to be creative, funny, and draw.

Coming back from work I can safely drive, think, even shop for an hour or two. But when I’m back in my home I literally crash. I’ve talked about it before, but the worst part about being that tired from work is that it affects my ability to write and draw. Now, being tired is one thing but affecting my writing? Unforgivable.

Still, one must work to eat and eat to live so you can continue to write. I just need more sleep so I stop dreaming of freaky alarm-clock monsters. If one attacked me now, why, I’d be so tired…I’d probably still smash it into the ground to vent my excess fury.

Standing Coma

Don't wake her up either way,

Don’t wake her up either way,

After a big post about creativity, let’s talk about being tired. Not sure what kind of jobs you lovely viewers have (or if you even need a job), but I work a morning shift from 4:30 to 12:30 each day.

That means I get back from work and sometimes I’m so tired I just fall asleep where I sit. Eating, on the computer…the body just shuts down.

Needless, to say, that doesn’t make writing any easier. If you’ve got a job, writing is a hard hobby. Just my observation — but I’m still writing because I’m hooked.
