Car Sleep-Wreck

Car Sleep-Wreck

Really, it’s her fault for being in the way.

I hope no one reading this ever gets in a car crash. Cars are among scariest things I’ve ever seen, and I’ve flown on airplanes through storms.

But hey, at least I don’t have to worry about being hit by toy cars. A stick person’s not gonna do much damage even going fast if they ram me, so…huzzah for that?

Sliding Sleeping

Pain is a good lesson?

Parents, here’s a question for you: do you let your kids make mistakes? If you see your child about to commit a non-life-endangering but potentially-painful-and-or-embarrassing stunt, do you let them do it?

Old school thinking is that pain builds character. I disagree. Pain builds bruises. Character builds character. Let’s not mix the two.

Sleepless Time

I hate alarm clocks.

I hate alarm clocks.

Has anyone noticed a certain lack of cohesion or detail in recent pictures? I feel like my job which exhausts me takes a toll on all things, including my ability to be creative, funny, and draw.

Coming back from work I can safely drive, think, even shop for an hour or two. But when I’m back in my home I literally crash. I’ve talked about it before, but the worst part about being that tired from work is that it affects my ability to write and draw. Now, being tired is one thing but affecting my writing? Unforgivable.

Still, one must work to eat and eat to live so you can continue to write. I just need more sleep so I stop dreaming of freaky alarm-clock monsters. If one attacked me now, why, I’d be so tired…I’d probably still smash it into the ground to vent my excess fury.
