It occurs to me that those who are satisfied with life often covet material objects a lot less than people like me. Well, shiny things are nice as I’m sure everyone would agree, but they’re just not necessary in the same way for people. In Pirate’s case, I guess she’s getting tired of tripping over gemstones and gold nuggets. How I envy her.
Let’s have a thought for the day. Only one though; let’s not overdo it or anything. I think that adversity does tend to make life more life-like, but it can be difficult at times. But that’s life. I guess. I’m going to eat some ice-cream now.
How much do you think about what you think? Pirate doesn’t think about much except food, sleep, and shelter, but maybe there’s hope for her yet. I can imagine her sitting around talking philosophy with Knight and asking a bunch of obvious questions.
