Peace can be shattered, but the hope for peace cannot be destroyed.
I will confess that I didn’t know about the Paris attacks until a few hours ago. Being swept up in trying to publish my book and the excitement around it, I didn’t check the world news.
For those of us not in Paris or France, we can only send our support and hope that such attacks will be stopped both here and wherever they may occur. More than that, thoughts for the victims and those affected, and remembering peace even in times of war.
Pirate thinks with her stomach. Occasionally her head, but mostly her stomach. On that note I’m told butterflies taste horrible, but I’m not willing to test that theory.
Let the butterfly live, Pirate.
Because Knight needs more screen-time! Well, part of the issue is that unlike Pirate, Knight doesn’t usually get into trouble by herself. She’s very collected in that way, but also sort of boring.
Life is all about not drowning and inner peace.
What would you do if you met another species? What if they looked like a bug? Pirate’s probably not the best person to make contact with an alien race, anyways.
And that’s how the war started.
I’m hoping that’s what these characters mean. I thought that they would add a certain amount of authenticity to this scene. Not sure why Pirate’s balancing on a pile of rocks, but she’s having fun. That’s what counts.
This is what she does in her spare time. Maybe.
