200th Post — Crossroads Foundation!

It’s been 200 days more or less since this blog began. How do I know? WordPress tells me this is my 200th post! That’s…twice as many as 100 posts! Huzzah!

In all seriousness, though, I felt that this post should not only be big, but be a thank-you to a place that I consider very special. Thus, I present a comic about Crossroads Foundation (http://www.crossroads.org.hk/), a Hong Kong-based NGO that helps people around the world!

Why is is it so important? Well, they’ve partnered with the UN to create a service which connects need with resource called Global Hand (http://www.globalhand.org/en). They also help run simulations about what it’s like to be in need, and even appeared at Davos this year and put a bunch of CEO’s and famous-type people through what they call the Refugee Run (http://www.refugee-run.org/), which places you in the shoes of a refugee. I worked there for only a few months, but I consider it a very important part of my life.

I’m going to stop talking now. Enjoy the 200th post special comic about Crossroads, starring as always: Pirate! If you like the comic or want to spread the word about a good organization like this one, feel free to re-post or re-blog, print out, or link people to this picture! Hope you like it!

PS: It’s a MASSIVE image, so try looking at the full-size image so you can see all the details!

Where need meets resource! Let's all lend a helping hand with Pirate!
