It occurs to me that those who are satisfied with life often covet material objects a lot less than people like me. Well, shiny things are nice as I’m sure everyone would agree, but they’re just not necessary in the same way for people. In Pirate’s case, I guess she’s getting tired of tripping over gemstones and gold nuggets. How I envy her.
Gold is worthless. It’s heavy, not as strong as iron, and it doesn’t glitter as much as people think. That’s Pirate’s perspective at least. She’s got a refreshingly straightforward point of view.
They say the road to hell…Pirate means well, but this is the one moment where she can really ruin the economy. Well, our countries don’t use the gold standard anymore, so we’re mostly safe. In the stick-people’s world though, Pirate’s a walking economic apocalypse.
How much is something worth? The price is entirely dependent on the person, and the situation. In this case, I think the stick-people had better give up now. For Pirate, apples are worth more than their weight in gold.
Pirate, tell me what is most important in life? Unlimited wealth? Power? Fame? Or is it toilet paper? I guess it depends on supply and demand.
