Some days when I come home I’m hungry and I want to eat pasta. I put water on the stove and then stare at it until it boils. It always feels like forever. Maybe I should just ignore it until I accidentally boil all the water out of the pot…as I have done several times.
Fixed my tablet! …After an hour of wasted time, that is. But more importantly, I made some bulgolgi today! It tasted good, although I burned the first batch a little. But really, preparing meat dishes take a lot of time. Especially if it’s a cow.
Some things just aren’t desirable, even if they are edible.
I’m gonna level with all of you: I hate mushrooms, and don’t like soup. You’ll never catch me eating bugs. But I do tend to mix up my food in weird combinations. Like soy sauce and dumplings and bagels and cheese fried together with eggs. It’s…really tasty, okay?
I feel like my cooking has a lot of accidental casualties. Such as my kitchen. I’m not sure if you all are cleaner, but I produce way too many dishes, burned fingers, and gigantic spills when I make pancakes.
Let’s not even talk about what happens when I try to flip them.
I had hamburger the other day. This is what I thought of. It strikes me that a food lover like Pirate would be great at knowing just how long to cook a burger properly. Me, I can’t even flip them without losing half my burger.
Disclaimer: No stick people were eaten in the making of this picture.
Are you one of those people who orders their burger rare? If it’s still moving, I’m not eating it is my general philosophy. But Pirate apparently goes for food au naturel. Well, with a bit of salt. Everything goes well with salt. Except orange juice.
All lovers of cooking and fine cuisine beware: you’ll find only nightmares here. The recipe below is actually something I’ve eaten — just fry all of it up in a giant pan or wok and enjoy! Pirate would definitely like it because it’s food, but Knight has a far more normal reaction to this edible evil.
That’s it. I have a stick-problem. I can’t keep them out of the pictures — they’ve just got too much character for such small people! Anyways, this was drawn while hungry. Fun fact: some soups do use apples, apparently.
