Everyone’s a critic.
This was…surprisingly hard to draw, even without having to worry about details as much. Looks like you can’t take shortcuts on the road to art, especially since I still can’t draw any kind of special effects.
Look at that blue blog that’s supposed to be a shock-wave thingy. It hurts. But improve and keep practicing! I do like the MS Paint-eqsue feel of this kind of drawing, though.
It’s all just a bit unclear.
New art styles are hard to figure out. This is just a quick sketch of me trying out a new way to draw. It’s got promise, but I always find time is hard to balance against drawing a new picture every day. Hm. Well, that thing on Pirate’s chest is a bandolier, by the way.
She’s looking a bit sketchy today.
Still sick, but recovering. Weird ideas come out of me when I’m sick. Is it a positive thing? Not sure, not sure.

My drawing tablet is breaking. I’d like to share this fact because my pen keeps lagging when I draw. It took twice as long to draw this picture and it’s driving me crazy. Oh, and Knight is way more reliable than Pirate.
It’s a work in progress.
Whenever I want to feel bad about myself I go on Deviantart and look at pictures. I know it’s bad to compare yourself to others, but man, there’s some talent out there.
Still, I have my art style — I just wish it were better. I know how to improve though: buy a better tablet, photoshop, and practice and take art classes for two more years.
…Sigh. If only.

Step 1: Draw sketch.

And now, a look back at Pirate when she was first drawn! She looks like a completely different person. Well, don’t blame Pirate for the change in appearance, blame the hand the draws her. At least she looks better now…right?
